Lugoff Sits Between Two Kinds of Ground. We Drill Both.

Lugoff occupies an interesting spot. It sits on the west bank of the Wateree River, directly across from Camden, in the transition zone where the Sandhills give way toward the river floodplain. Properties on the higher ground toward Elgin and the I-20 corridor drill like classic Sandhills — screened sand wells, good yields, moderate depth. Properties down closer to the Wateree bottoms are working with alluvial deposits and a shallower water table, which is a different proposition and needs more care over casing and sealing.

That variability inside one small area is the main reason we assess a Lugoff site before quoting rather than pricing off the postcode.
